Work will be carried out under the Heading of "Flood Alleviation" on the banks of the Waveney and along Geldeston Cut in the not too distant future.

So far they are in the preliminary appraisal stage - They had started consultation stage with landowners - but have since found out that their idea of digging out large dykes and using this to create banks would not work. So they are looking again at what they can do.

They should then consult landowners before taking it to public consultation.
