Geldeston Parish Council
Meetings
Council meetings are held at Geldeston Village Hall, normally on the second Wednesday of each month except August (due to holidays) and December (due to the Christmas break) Meetings commence at 7.30 pm.
The Annual Parish Meeting is held in either April or May.
Meeting Minutes and Agenda are displayed on the Village Hall notice board at least five days before each meeting. All members of the parish are invited to attend the meetings and listen to what is being discussed. There is also an opportunity for parishioners to raise any issues or concerns they may have. No Council actions or resolutions may arise from such items but may be agreed as Council agenda items for a subsequent meeting. Parishioners are also encouraged to suggest items/topics suitable for the Annual Parish Meeting. An additional meeting of a limited number of Councillors will be held in November/December to formulate proposals for the next annual precept.
